Everyone loves a good deal, right? Think about the adrenaline you feel when you find that perfect gift for an amazing deal at the perfect price! Experiencing this kind of “high” is what makes Black Friday and Cyber Monday so popular. No matter the size of your company, you can find your place in this holiday mayhem. We’ll give you a few ideas to try this year to make the most out of this coveted shopping event.

Offering time sensitive deals is the perfect way to get your customer to pull the trigger. Amazon does a great job of using timely deals to their advantage when hosting their famous Amazon Prime Day. Offering a free gift with purchase is great way to help increase sales over the holidays. When choosing a gift, it’s important to make sure it makes sense with your product/service mix. If you’re a dry-cleaning company giving away kitchen timers, you may confuse your customers. I mean, whaaatt?? You want to make sure the gift is something that has high perceived value, on trend and is widely desirable. The overall goal is to increase sales and make your customer feel valued.  

Hashtag It

Holiday shopping events are a great opportunity to take advantage of hashtags. When choosing hashtags, opt for broad ones like #blackfriday, #cybermonday and #sale. You want to make it as easy as possible for your customer to purchase your deal on your product page.
