Who are you and what do you do here at ARK? Hey I am Savannah and I am Creative Team Lead here at ARK Marketing 🙂 This means I basically get to be creative all day, everyday. My main function here is to head up the Video team and work with the Social Media & Graphic Design teams to make sure what we produce for clients aligns with their brands.
Describe your job in 3 words: Fulfilling – Challenging (in a good way) – Fun
What do you like most about your job? I get to spend my day helping small business owners fine tune their image through either photography, graphic design, or video. Exercising three of my passions everyday and I am so grateful for that. In the end, I am lucky that I get to work alongside some of the best coworkers I’ve ever had.
What do you enjoy doing in your free time? There’s too much to list, but I am a hobby addict. I love technology, art, traveling, books, the outdoors, woodworking, photography, learning new skills…. etc. My second full time job is taking care of my two dogs and two cats! When I am not doing any of the above, I enjoy hanging out with my husband Devin.
What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know? I have been to Russia! It was for a study abroad class in college for an Arts class. We got to tour almost every museum in Saint Petersburg. It was a 100/10 experience.
Extra fun fact that I can’t leave out: Orcas are my absolute favorite animal. It’s a goal of mine within the next year to travel to see one in the wild.
What’s the one thing you can’t live without? Truthfully, I am an “energy tea” addict. I’m not sure what’s even in them but they taste so good and I drink one almost every day.
If you could have any superpower what would it be? It’s a really close tossup between flying and telekinesis. But if I had to choose……..flying. I feel like you can’t beat that. Also, I wouldn’t need the drone anymore for video shoots haha
What’s one food you can’t resist? Fried cheese wontons all day every day
What is your favorite movie/book? Right now my favorite book is anything with vampires or fae. (don’t judge)
How would your family and friends describe you in three words? Competitive – Funny – Unconventional
