Website Designer
Primary Job Function:
We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients.
To be a successful WordPress developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.
Attention to detail and organization is essential. This position requires a strong work ethic and strong time management.
JOB SUMMARY
• Meeting with project manager and account managers to discuss website design and function
• Designing and building the website front-end
• Creating the website architecture
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration
• Conducting website performance tests
• Troubleshooting content issues
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must maintain high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Location
Buford, GA or Beaumont, TX
While our model supports a remote work environment, ARK is looking for a team member to come work side by side with the team to learn the company culture. Hybrid or Full WFH possible for the right candidate*
Required Skills
• Proven work experience as a WordPress developer
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics, as well as SEO best practices
• Strong time management, organizational skills and able to manage multiple, complex priorities within demanding timeframes
• Positive mental attitude, team oriented and willing to go the extra mile
• Be up to date on the latest trends in digital marketing
• Content writing is a plus!
